ABOUT US
A&M Childcare is a family run Childminding Setting which started in 2013. We comprise of two sisters, Alison and Marcia, her daughter Andrea and their niece Michelle who work as our Assistants. As working Parents, we chose to send our children to a childminder (following the footsteps of our older Sister) who had similar ethics and values to ourselves with regards to raising children. This provided our children with a high level of stability, consistency and nurturing which has shaped their lives into adulthood. Our children often recall special moments at their childminders and still keep in contact with her. Their positive experience is the reason that we chose this path as it is important to us that we have a positive impact on children in their formative years. Working together we have children ranging from 8 months up to 5 years old allowing us to offer a Nursery-like feel within a homely environment.
We provide healthy and varied meals including a hot lunch cooked daily.
We offer personalised, inclusive and supportive child care for children aged 8 months to five years and work closely with parents to support and strengthen the needs of the family.
We provide indoor and outdoor play, visits to the local parks, libraries, children centres/playgroups and local places of interest.
We are on the Ofsted Early Years Register and was graded "Good" at our last inspection in March 2017.

“The setting is always clean and fresh and they have a lovely garden (with veg patch!) which the kids are always out in. We get regular pictures and updates about their activities and development.
When my second son was 3 months old I had to work for a week and they kindly agreed to have him, I had no hesitation in sending him there for that time at that age - that’s how much I trust them.”
